Pricing for custom cookies starts at $70 per dozen (standard size, 3–5 inches). The minimum order for standard size cookies is 1 dozen. Pricing is determined by design(s), customization, detail, etc. Hand-made and decorated cookies are a labor of love and considered pieces of edible art!
I absolutely want to make your vision come to life, so any work change requests after payment must be clearly made in writing with confirmation from black market cookie co. accompanied by price adjustments approved by you.

A: My cookie studio is located in Elmhurst, Illinois! Please know that I do not currently have a retail storefront as I am a cottage food operation.
You will receive the full address and pickup instructions in your email receipt titled, “Your black market cookie co. order has been received!” just below the order details once payment is made.
A: I do not ship cookies.
A: I do offer delivery within the Chicagoland area at a fee of $3.00 per mile for custom cookie orders only (by the dozen), PLUS an additional $25.00 fee for Saturday/Sunday deliveries at this time. Please check back in the future for any changes.
All orders are available for local pickup at my location in Elmhurst, Illinois at no additional charge.
A: I recommend reaching out as soon as you know you need cookies so I can accommodate your order. Requesting custom cookies six to eight weeks prior to your event is recommended. I typically request at least two weeks notice, but if you have an emergency and need cookies for an event, please contact me immediately so we I check my schedule. A rush fee of $30 or 30%, whichever is greater, may be applied if your order is placed with less than 10 days notice. Please understand that full payment must be made within 48 hours of the proposal being sent in order to secure your spot on my calendar.

Pricing increases depending on the number of shapes, designs, colors, special sizes, need for custom shapes or hand-cutting, metallic accents, airbrushing, multi-layered icing, use of fondant, modeling chocolate, wafer paper, hand-painting, edible sequins, or amount of overall detailed designs requested.
A: Yes, all cookies will be individually wrapped and heat sealed in cellophane bags to maintain freshness. Additional trimmings, such as ribbons, tags or stickers are available for additional cost. Orders by the dozen will automatically be packed in a bakery box for your convenience.
A: My baked creations contain: wheat, egg, and milk. There are also a variety of cookie items I make that may also contain soy and nut products.
I do NOT bake out of a nut-free facility. If there is a possibility of a nut allergy, I recommend you find someone who creates sweet treats out of a nut-free kitchen. As much as I would like to be a part of your celebration/event, I value your safety even more!
My products are carefully labeled (either individually or per box) with a list of the cookie ingredients and known allergens.
While every effort is made to avoid cross contamination with other common food allergens, these products are made in a home kitchen not subject to public health inspection. The same home kitchen may also process other common food allergens.
A: I do not offer any gluten-free options at this time.

A: It’s easy! Check out the “Shop” menu, which allows you to order pre-designed desserts online. I also offer seasonal cookies, which are perfectly themed, packaged, and conveniently available just in time for major holidays. * Due to an overwhelming amount of support and requests for custom cookies during the recent holiday seasons, I am unable to offer pre-designed holiday cookies and cookie kits this year. Thank you for your support and understanding. I look forward to bringing pre-designed holiday cookies back in the future!
For custom cookies, please fill out our online inquiry/order form, so I can start dreaming up your perfect set of delicious desserts designed with your event and budget in mind. Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.
A: It brings me no joy if this is the case. If you have waited the 72 hours (I’m usually a lot quicker than that!) and don’t see an email from me in your inbox, then it could be one of a few reasons:
1. Check that my response didn’t end up in your spam. If it did, please go ahead and add hello@blackmarketcookieco.com to your email contacts list. Phew! That was a quick solve!
2. Sometimes I receive an incomplete form (no full name, incomplete phone number, and incorrect email address). Trust me, it’s happened. And no worries! I try my best to figure out what I can, but sometimes my deduction skills aren’t Sherlock level. Therefore, I just can’t get back to you without some of that pertinent info.
3. It hasn’t happened yet, but I’m human and life can get a little crazy – maybe I missed it. Eek! Please reach out with a quick email to hello@blackmarketcookieco.com and ask me if I received your custom cookie order form. You can bet I’ll check on that ASAP!
A: Save your cash, I take card. Custom cookie proposals will be sent via email for you to review and approve all of your cookie details before submitting payment online. There will be a secure payment link provided on the email proposal for your convenience. Custom work only starts when your order is paid in full. Please understand that full payment must be made within 48 hours of the proposal being sent in order to secure your spot on my calendar.
A: I accept the following forms of payment through this website:

A: Cookies are best when eaten within 1-2 weeks when left in their heat sealed packaging. I only recommend freezing your cookies after your event as condensation can cause icing discoloration.
Cookie care instructions include: keep decorated sugar cookies in their heat sealed packaging at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
A: For all custom orders, there is a 50% cancellation charge of the total order amount if I am not notified by email at least 7 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.
Order cancellation less than 7 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date will result in a 50% to 100% charge of the total order depending on where I am in production.
A: While every effort is made to ensure your cookie order is packaged to arrive in perfect condition for your event, I can not guarantee their condition once they leave my hands. Returns or refunds are not available for cookies.
